ROTARY AREA OF FOCUS
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
High-Impact Clean Water & Sanitation Drives Coming in 2026–27
Clean water, safe sanitation, and healthy hygiene practices are fundamental human rights. While our club has not yet concluded a published activity in this specific avenue for this tenure, targeted ground-level projects are currently in active design and scoping:
Pure Water for Schools
Installing multi-stage clean drinking water filtration systems in underprivileged schools in and around Durgapur.
Sanitation & Handwash Drives
Refurbishing handwashing facilities and delivering interactive hygiene education workshops for young children.
Menstrual Health & Dignity
Conducting community health workshops and distributing sustainable menstrual hygiene kits in marginalized areas.
Have an idea or want to partner with us on WASH?
We welcome collaborations with schools, NGOs, sponsors, and passionate individuals to bring clean water to communities in need.
